Instantly mark your IT EQUIPMENT.

Laser engraving and UV printing

The placement of asset tags as stickers is not always preferred, but the equipment must be provided with a direct and permanent marking.

To achieve this, we use 2 different methods of UV printing and Laser engraving. Depending on the application and wishes, we are happy to advise you on which technology fits best.

What are the differences now?

With direct marking and the choice of technology, we are happy to advise you based on the application and the function for which you want to mark your devices. theft marking or as an alternative to asset tagging.

In addition, not only the application is leading, but also the IT equipment itself. The material, size and weight determine the possibilities.

The first and perhaps most striking difference between the 2 techniques are the possibilities in terms of color. The laser marking can only be done in monochrome while UV printing can be done in full color. In addition, there are some differences with regard to wear resistance, substrate options and size. Below you will find an overview to compare the most important differences. Of course we can always advise which solution best fits the desired application and equipment.

We can mark the device using laser techniques. This can be done in 2 different ways, namely laser engraving (in burning of the marker) or with the aid of a so-called etching tool with which the marker always turns beautifully black.

With special equipment and UV inks, we are able to print directly on a wide range of materials. This technique allows us to place a full-color print directly on the equipment. If necessary, a special primer is used to optimize the adhesion of the UV inks.
