As proof of this reliability, the warranty on these printers has been temporarily extended by 2 years. This means that the guarantee is no less than 3 years.
What warranty does Epson ColorWorks printers have?
The warranty that you normally get for 1 year is now valid for 3 years. Therefore, 2 years of extra security is offered for free. The guarantee given on the different models, however, differs. To make use of this temporary extension, it is necessary that the customer registers the printer after purchase. This must be done on the Epson website within 28 days of purchase. The link for this registration can be found at the bottom of this page or by clicking on the image on the right.
This promotion runs from 01/07/2019 to 30/09/2019. After this promotion period the warranty will again be 1 year by default.
Industrial color label printers – Epson ColorWorks TM-C7500 and TM-C7500G
The standard warranty on the Epson TM-C7500 and TM-C7500G inkjet label printers is based on a so-called “Swap on site” service. This warranty therefore runs normally for 1 year and works as follows.
- There is a problem with the printer that cannot be resolved through our telephone support .
- The printer is registered for repair at Epson and an RMA number is created and sent by Epson.
- Contacted within 1 working day to make an appointment. Another printer will be delivered on the agreed date.
- The new printer is connected by the customer and our service department helps you with setting up the new printer.
- The old printer will be picked up a few days later. For example, there is some time to prepare the new printer for production. This time can also be used to prepare the Epson printer for transport.
- If the old printer can be repaired, it will be returned to the customer. The replacement printer is then picked up again a few days later. If the old printer can no longer be repaired, the replacement printer will remain with the customer.
This warranty is extended by 2 years during the promotion period. This way, there is no less than 3 years of certainty, and that should almost give confidence.
Desktop color label printer – Epson ColorWorks TM-C3500
For the Epson ColorWorks TM-C3500, the desktop model from the ColorWorks series, a different warranty service applies. This inkjet label printer has a 1-year warranty based on “Return to base” service. In short, this printer must be sent in for repair. For this printer, warranty handling goes as follows:
- There is a problem with the printer that cannot be resolved through our telephone support .
- The printer is registered for repair under warranty through the Epson website.
- Epson sends an email with shipping instructions. These contain the address to which the printer must be sent. The mail also contains packing instructions. These packing instructions are there to ensure that the printer is not damaged during transport. Pay close attention to this, is the printer just being packaged and is it irreparably damaged? Then the printer can no longer be repaired under warranty. Shipping the printer is at your own expense and risk.
- Once the printer has been repaired, it will be returned including a repair report. This way the customer knows what was going on and what has possibly been replaced.
Also for this model, during the promotional period, this guarantee is extended by 2 years free of charge. So the Epson TM-C3500 also temporarily offers 3 years of security.
The lowercase letters
As always, there are so-called lowercase letters on such a promotion that apply as conditions. In this case, the lowercase letters are the same as the standard warranty conditions. These warranty conditions can possibly be found on the Epson website.
Register Epson Colorworks inkjet label printer
It is always a good idea to register your purchased Epson ColorWorks printer. As a result, any warranty handling will be quick and smooth. During the promotional period, registering the Epson ColorWorks printer is even mandatory. If a purchased Epson ColorWorks inkjet label printer is not registered within 28 days, the free warranty extension expires.
